Savannah Chrisley "Devastated" by Death of Friend Charlie Kirk

Savannah Chrisley is heartbroken over the death of Charlie Kirk.
Hours after the Turning Point USA co-founder was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at a Utah college Sept. 10, the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared what she will miss about their friendship.
“The past two and a half years of my life have been some of the hardest years I've ever had to endure,” Savannah said in a TikTok video. “But in those two and a half years, I've met so many great people and lifelong friends.”
The 28-year-old added, “One of those people that brought me into that world was Charlie Kirk—someone who gave me a voice as a woman, made me feel like I had the power to show up in this world.”
Savannah—whose parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were pardoned by President Donald Trump earlier this year—went on to detail how Charlie, 31, had encouraged her to fight for their prison release.
“He believed in me and in my family when the world turned its back,” she wrote in the caption. “He saw potential, he spoke life into us, and he reminded me that God still had a plan even when I couldn’t see it myself. That kind of belief changes you forever.”
And their working relationship was set to grow even deeper this fall.
“I was supposed to be standing next to him at every college this October,” she explained. “Instead, I sit here with a broken heart, devastated beyond words.”
Describing his killing as a “political assassination,” Savannah shared the pain she feels for Charlie’s wife Erika Frantzve Kirk, who shared two young kids with the conservative activist.
“I'm truly grieving for his wife, Erica,” the Growing Up Chrisley star continued. “One of the kindest, most loving human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”
She also remarked on the impact Charlie made on the world by holding political debates in public, sharing, “He created a movement. His legacy is one that I hope I can build half of for my kids.”
In a message to Charlie, Savannah concluded, “You changed America. You changed me. You changed my family. Rest easy, my friend. Heaven has gained a warrior.”
